i"m not sure how this is considered energy efficient. no matter what setting i use, it always rinses in hot water. if i do one small load of clothes, i have no hot water until the water heater catches back up. my electric bill raised by $75 a month since i got it. the water doesn't fill enough to cover the clothes, most still come out stained. if this wasn't a gift from my son who was so excited to buy it, i would return it in a heartbeat.

yes, it washes and has a large capacity. has a true slow-agitating gentle cycle. i like being able to set for multiple rinses. the bad: extremely noisy compared to last washer by another brand. due to limited supply, i couldnt get the other brand within a reasonable amount of time. thus i happily bought this samsung, expecting a fantastic machine. the back metal plate covering most of the backside virbates loudly when draining and spinning. no, its not rubbing against something. i think its made of a filmsy metal. the tinted glass top is too dark and requires a flashlight to see the clothes inside. theres plenty of light in the room. whats the purpose of a glass lid if ya cant see clearly thru it??

i purchased this through costco as a set. the grinding noise that others have posted videos of is exactly what i have too. the noise is only occasional. the comments in reply by samsung are somewhat hilarious since that must be by a bot since they do not address the noise issue at all. i need to find a replacement set so costco can pick this pair up and remove them.

i am absolutely in love. my old washer broke and so my aunt brought me this beauty. i love love love it. it even has where i can turn on water jets at the top to wash out a stain before putting it in the washer. i can even presoak my clothes now!! it has a button for that. it even has a child lock and sings a little song to let me know my cycle is done.

i have a vacation home at which we have a samsung 5.2 top loading washing machine. our home sleeps 10 people who use a great quantity of towels and sheets. our samsung washer makes it possible for the housekeeper to wash all the bedding and towels in a fourth of the time which reduces the hourly cost of the housekeepers. it i.s easy to use, but you do have to keep it clean and use the self cleaning cycle when washing frequent large loads. i bought the washing machine 5 years ago and never had any problem. it does a great job of cleaning and looks beautiful in our laundry room. i highly recommend this product.

We've had this new washer for a couple of months now and are very pleased with our purchase. Even the express cycle gets our clothing super clean. There is plenty of space inside for comforters and blankets and the bedding cycle works well. We haven't used the water jet feature, so I can't comment on that. All in all, no complaints.

Bought these units last November from Lowe's. They both work great. Washer is very easy to use , does a great job cleaning. On large items ( blankets) sometimes unit will get unbalanced load but after a short period of time, it corrects itself. Dryer is always perfect. Lint trey is easy accessible for cleaning. We have tried all sorts of washing machines. Top load with agitator, front load, and now a top load without the agitator. We are happy with that choice. The large drum and no agitator allow for large loads. This machine is also very quiet. Only thing I wish it had was a smart app to tell me when the wash is complete. It is so quiet; I have to go to the machine to see if it is done.

So far we have had the exact experience you would want out of this washing machine: zero problems, and clean clothes. Really like the built-in faucet. Also have had issues with pods with other machines, but not this one. Oh and the basin is frickin huge. When the wash cycle is over. It plays a song for about 60 seconds that really... I don't know... makes you feel good that you've done laundry.

After having the washer for a bit now I can say that its cleaning is excellent. We have used the ActiveJet feature for work shirts pre-washing and it has been a breeze. The 5.4 cubic capacity and no middle agitator makes washing larger items like comforters and bed spreads much easier and article removal is generally more simple. Using the deep fill ensures a thorough washing as well as the many customized settings.The fact it is self-cleaning and energy star rated are fabulous, and the slow-close lid and child lock are great safety features.

My wife is so happy with this washer and so am I! She absolutely hated how bad our old washer was (clunky, small capacity, clogged detergent dispenser/bleach dispensers). This Washer is the nicest one I have ever used. My wife loves that it doesn't have an agitator and that we can easily wash large king-sized comforters in it. My favorite feature is the glass top and digital interface. I help with the laundry too now that the machine makes it so easy. Only thing that would make it better would be if it was wi-fi enabled and I could get notifications when clothes are dry or if there is an error that needs to be addressed.

I am always drawn Samsung for its wonderful products that are energy efficient. This washer is both energy efficient and powerful. My favorite feature is the Active WaterJet technology that allows you to pre-treat stained clothing before throwing the clothes into the wash. This washer packs a mighty punch when cleaning clothes and makes washing fun. The washer is able to hold a large volume of laundry, which is great for families, and those who have the need to wash larger loads. The washer is easy to use and easy to understand. The design is sleek and the soft close lid, which makes everything easier. Also, I like that you can see through the lid into the washer and watch your clothes as they're washed. Thank you to Samsung for making your appliances AUI, Braille compliant. I rate this washer four out-of five stars, as I am 5'1 in height, and the washer's deep tub requires me to use a stool to reach clothes at the bottom. My only preference would be to modify the tub depth a bit, for us who are vertically challenged.

Easy to use - the controls are easily accessible everything comes out clean without any issues. J love the fabric softener area as well it eliminates the problem of getting fabric softener all over everything. There is no agitator which allows for much higher capacity.

This new product is very modern and has many great features that our family has come to enjoy. The clothes seem to come out much cleaned and smell better than they did with our old machine. This is because there are so many different kinds of cycles and different options for the cycle allowing for a more personalized wash. There are many features that come from the big detailed display. For example, there is an option to have music to alert you that the load is done. Also, it alerts us when it is unbalanced, instead of just continuing to run. Unlike our old washing machine, we are able to know how long the cycle will be, instead of just guessing. We are also able to clean so many more clothes in one cycle because the basin is so large. Another great thing is that we can wash my son's hockey equipment since there is nothing in the middle of the basin, which saves us a lot of time and money as we can do it in our own home. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends!

i haven't used a washer this nice before. the barrel is huge and doesn't have a bulky agitator. i love the delay end function, child lock is a wonderful, deep fill & glass top! i have no complaints!

After using this washer several weeks now I can say that I love it! It cleans my clothes very well and is easy to use. It does have a lot of features and options. The whites take about 1hr 32min to do a normal size load. The normal wash takes about 55 minutes. The design of this washer is awesome except for the detergent and softener compartments. I find it very hard to put detergent and softener in their compartments as the lid to the washer covers some of it. Other than that the washer is very sleek. I love just standing and watching the clothes wash with the see through top. This washer holds a lot and is very deep. Can wash plenty with just one load. I do recommend this washer!

this washer is an excellent purchase. i have been using it for about 5 months. has lots of washing options, i like the "deep fill" option - it is adding extra water when you need .

I really love my new washer , it is very easy to use , has lots of cycle washing options , it's very quiet , wash time is not very long and I love the new features as the steamer and the water jet, it is huge inside , now I'm down to one load per week and I am saving a lot of time and money with my new washer . I truly recommend .

I absolutely LOVE this Samsung washer!!! It's large capacity, no agitator & easy to use! There's been no issues with mold like I had with a previous washing machine, & i love the jingle it plays when it's done! Everything comes out spotless! I enjoy doing laundry again! It's easy to use, the control placement makes it easy to operate. I love the fabric softener placement as well, it eliminates the spilling of softener on clothes. So much easier.

Exceptionally Clean clothes

Samsung washer this product has a nice clean design and makes our laundry room look really nice. It has so many features that i'm not sure if I would use all of them but I'm sure my other half will. She does most of the washing. You choose your wash cycle which consists of 9 different wash cycles/ 1 self clean and then you can adjust to your needs. I like that I can now rinse my work clothes a few times vrs one rinse before. I work on crane machines in factories and become extremely filthy. I can't believe how clean they come out now. I also like the fact that I can do 2 loads to the 1 I was doing before. There is a feature that you can add water to a spot or area called Active Waterjet. Also they have a presoak button you can select. This washer has really worked wonders on my clothes and I couldn't be happier with it.

There is nothing bad I can say about this washer. This washer is amazing. I love the functions, the sleek design and how quiet it is. My clothes come out clean every time and I don't have to use a lot of laundry detergent. So just that, has saved me money. The 5.4 cubic feet is big enough for my king sized fluffy comforter. I love it. That's all I can really say. It's just that good.

A Smart, Sleek Washer for our Smart Home

With my old, I never felt my clothes smelled fresh. The first time I used my Samsung washer, I couldn't believe I waited so long to replace my old washer. My clothes have never smelled fresher, and I couldn't be happier with my Samsung purchase! To start, this washer is very easy to use. To be honest, I didn't even look at the user manual initially. The control panel is simple: you turn the dial to choose which cycle you need and then from there you can adjust cycle settings, including 5 different temperatures, rinse, spin, and soil settings. If you have a particularly dirty load of laundry, there is a pre-soak option which adds 18 minutes of soaking time at the start of the wash. I love the active waterjet feature for pre-washing. There is an actual water spout at the top of the washer which enables me to hand wash my clothes before putting them in the washer. Since I don't have a sink in my laundry room, this has been very helpful for pre-treating stains. The delay option is also helpful. If I'm running late in the morning but I want to still wash a couple of loads, I sometimes prepare my laundry, close the lid and delay the cycle so it will finish as soon as I'm arriving home from work. Because of this option, I don't have wet clothes sitting in the washer all day and I can pop them in the dryer as soon as I get home. With my old washer, I never could remember when I needed to clean the washer. Samsung has a built-in reminder, which turns on after 20 cycles as a prompt to clean the drum using the self-clean cycle. I feel much better knowing that I don't have to keep track of this and I'll always have a clean machine. Smart care is also a neat feature. After you download the Samsung laundry app, if the washer detects an issue, an information code will appear and the app can help provide details about the problem. I haven't had to use this yet, but it's a nice tech feature for future troubleshooting. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this washer for anyone looking to upgrade.
